Arbatax is a small hamlet in the Tortolì municipality. It is located in the Ogliastra region, on Sardinia’s Central Eastern coast.
Once a small fishermen village, Arbatax has developed around the 17th century Saracen tower, which offers a spectacular view of the sea, past Lotzorai beach all the way to the limestone bastions of Baunei.

Once in Nuoro, follow the signs for the hospital ‘Nuoro Ospedale’ and afterwards for Lanusei-Arbatax (you have to drive through a 1 km tunnel).
